We received a response to A Small Victory Against Nevada’s Tyranny, from a lady named Jaclyn who was just recently beaten by the police in Las Vegas. She is obviously one more victim of our out of control police in Vegas. We will let her tell her own story.

Thank you so much for posting this- I am in the very beginning stages of waging my own battle against Clark County, NV..
My boyfriend and I are from CA and are victims of police brutality, kidnapping, and torture by Las Vegas Metro Police and the Clark County Detention Center. I was recently visiting LV for the first time in my life- we were patrons at a casino when we witnessed metro police abusing this girl in the middle of the casino floor- throwing her onto the ground as she screamed “get them off me!†and seemed to offer no resistance. I was shocked and just watched in silence. My boyfriend said in a tone loud enough for them to hear – “they’re abusing that woman!†One of the officers looked at my boyfriend after he said this but continued to drag this woman away, out of sight. We continued to gamble in the casino for about 30 minutes more when the officers came up to us and demanded to see our ID and follow them into a back room. We complied fully, my boyfriend even asked if he could cash out his voucher from the slot machine and they yelled at him to “keep movingâ€.
When we got in the back room we saw the girl (who was being tossed around earlier) tied at hands and feet to a chair along with a bunch more uniformed people standing around. They brought me and my partner to separate corners of the room. I kept asking why I was there and they wouldn’t say anything. Then I said, “Are we here because my boyfriend tried to be a good Samaritan and stick up for this complete stranger?!†and pointed to the girl tied up in the corner of the room.
When I pointed to the girl a group of them grabbed me forcefully by the arms as if I had a weapon or was trying to hurt someone and spun me around so my face was to the wall, back facing all of them, crushing my wrists together hard. (At this time they turned my boyfriend around and put him in handcuffs. When he asked them why they were handcuffing him one of the officers replied, “We know the nature of the male†but my boyfriend did not resist and let them handcuff him).
I pulled away for a moment because he was seriously hurting my wrist and one of them said, “You’re resisting arrest,†and I asked what for and told them to lighten their grip because they were really hurting my arm and in response one of them squeezed even tighter in their grip (!) to where he sprained my “carpal navicular bone†(my wrist). I have hospital records, photos, to prove it). I flailed and kicked in reaction to the pain and then one of them said “that’s battery of an officer†and then I don’t know how many of them grabbed me and started tossing me around- they grabbed me by my shirt, off the ground and threw me to the ground- I am a 5′4″ 113 lb female with no prior arrests, no history of violence or misconduct of any kind! I blacked out.
I had bruises all over my body (have proof). They tied me by the hands and feet and dragged me to a patrol car where I waited for 30 minutes. (Meanwhile inside my boyfriend heard the rest of them say ((after searching all of our stuff and not finding anything)) “so what are we doing, trespassing?†They uncuffed my boyfriend only after he signed a paper accusing him of “trespassing†((we were staying at a hotel and were paying customers (have proof)). And then told him I was arrested for “kicking an officer†and was told I was being taken to Clark County Detention Center.
I was booked for “Battery of a Police Officerâ€, “Battery by a prisonerâ€, “resisting arrestâ€, and “obstructionâ€, although on all of the documents I have received since the charges are always slightly different (??).
My boyfriend paid $4,400.00 in person, in cash immediately when he got there. He was told that if he did it this way (instead of him paying by card or only a %) that I would be released in 4-6 hours.
I TOO, DENIED THIS “TUBERCULOSIS VACCINATION†THAT CLARK COUNTY DETENTION CENTER STAFF SAID WAS “STANDARD PROCEDUREâ€. It conflicts with my personal belief/religion and I was terrified and didn’t trust it! I talked to other inmates who said they didn’t have to take any shot at all.
I WAS FORCED TO SIT IN THE SAME CHAIR IN THE CORNER OF THE PROCESSING ROOM FOR OVER 24 HOURS WEARING A MASK FOR REFUSAL OF TAKING THIS SHOT. I WAS DENIED WATER MANY TIMES SAYING I WOULD “INFECT THE FOUNTAINâ€, THEY ALSO DENIED ME USE OF PHONE AND SOMETIMES EVEN BATHROOM!!! MY BOYFRIEND WAS ALSO TOLD WHEN HE KEPT SHOWING UP AT THE DETENTION CENTER ASKING WHY I HADN’T BEEN RELEASED YET THAT IT WAS BECAUSE I WAS, “BEING DIFFICULT†IN REFUSING THIS “TUBERCULOSIS VACCINATION.â€
After sitting in this chair for about 26 hours (and being yelled at anytime I tried to even stretch my legs out in front of me or put my arms inside the short sleeved T-shirt they gave me to keep warm in the freezing cold room(they took away all of my warm clothes and gave me a skirt, flip flops and the t shirt), they moved me to a “bio-hazard†room which I was forced to disinfect by hand myself. A guard told me that the guy in there before me had some infection that had not yet been diagnosed.
I am still in shock that this happened and am trying to collect as much info as I can- similar stories and such. I am a little scared after reading this article and many others I have found on the net which all say that the Clark County Justice system is extremely corrupt. I have just sent recorded and certified affidavits accepting the oath of office on the cop and the judge. Can anyone help me?? Is there any way I could get your name or case # to possibly refer to it?? Does anyone know a criminal defense lawyer in Nevada who will actually stand up against the cops and casino$$ ??

One of the many reasons I left Las Vegas. The Cops are as bad as the gangsters they let run loose on the streets. Ex-President Bush should have learned that there is a lot of Terrorism going on in the United States. Las Vegas is a home of Terror.
I am so sorry to hear what you also experienced. I had an almost similar situation. Take your time. Gather your evidence and talk to as many lawyers as you need to… the whole system is corrupt there. You can’t even trust some lawyers because they all tip eachother off and it is all about the money. I will post more details shortly. In the meantime, definetely talk with your legal councel provided first and force them and work with them to really take note of your case and build it. Fight for no criminal record. that is the main thing, all chrages should be dismissed. Get a feel as to what they advise keeping in mind they don’t care as much because they are paid to simply cut deals and wrap cases up quickly. ask for continuations of your date and hire a private lawyer if you are still not satisfied or feel like you are getting a good deal regarding these charges. Hiring a good lawyer should be able to get you off if what you say is the entire truth and you should be fine. In the meantime, write to magazines, newspapers, etc. our freedom of speech is most important and the more ppl here about this the less chances they have to convict innocent ppl.
The corrupt Police officers have changed my life. I used to be a hard working person who worked 16+ hours a day and support my family but since Jan 2008 now over 1 year I have been unemployed due to what happened to me in Vegas and still shocked and completely deppressed. I have nightmares of killing cop families to make them go through what they made me go through. I started doing heroin about 2 months after my incident to be able to sleep and be careless because I was not able to do anything else. It was not the right thing to do but at least it kept me from going and killing cops & their families. I think you will be better off spending your money and hiring people to kill corrupt cops instead of paying lawyers and getting nothing. Its very sad and I cant be evil but we are surrounded by evil people.
Thank God the cops didn’t kill me, sure they took a few years away from my life but may God punish them all.

My husband and I just moved here a month ago with high hopes for this fun place and still give this place a chance even though we have run into nothing but mean spirited people here. My husband and I were looking for a job and decided to start massaging as we have both gone to school for it, so we both put up an ad. The cops replied to my ad and asked me to come over to give them a massage, non erotic and no nude. The cop told me lots of sexual things and I had clearly stated that I do not do sexual things for money, but he persisted in talking sexual to me. After I had met up with him at the Hard Rock Hotel, he told me he was sorry for talking to me that way but wanted to still have sex with me, not in a good way. I walked up to the room with him as he promised not to speak to me that way anymore and knew that it was only a regular massage. We walked up to room # 1000 and as soon as we got there another cop opened the door quickly. The cop that took me up pushed me into the room while the cop that opened the door grabbed me by my hair and slammed my face into the mirror while calling me a dog. I did not see any of their badges and urinated on the floor because I was so scared, and when I did pee on the floor another cop came up to me and drug me by my hair and threw me in the bathtub while calling me a dog and a dirty whore and that I deserved to die, and if they had anymore problems out of me that he would kill me himself. When he threw me in the tub I hit my face and broke my tooth. All he did was laugh and say that I want to be treated like a human when I pee on floor like a dog, and he should have pushed my face in it like a dog and hit me in the head. I then sat there for about an hour and then my husband came up to check on me as I had told him that the massage was only for 15 minutes, my husband knocked on the door asking for me and they swung it open and four cops came out and tackled him into the wall, two with guns in his face and one pushed it into his mouth after cocking it back. The same officer that threw me in the tub kicked my husband in the face and head twice, my husband was crying and yelling for me and they handcuffed him and threatened to kill him , threw him on floor and made fun of him. They held us there talking all kinds of trash to us until they transported us to the jail , we were not allowed to talk or even look at each other. My husband was threatened with being beat down or put in the hole if he even looked at me once, my husband has severe mental health problems and was made fun of and denied mental health services and medication. The same officer that pushed my face into the mirror was the one who transported me , he had the nerve to try and joke with me the whole way there talking about the Castro in SF. I did not recognize him right away but he had tried to be my BF before and took it out on me because I was attracted to white men. When arriving at the jail, there was only one nice officer but of course he was only hitting on me … I was shaking a lot from the fear that they were going to rape me as not too long ago I was raped by a cop. The cop asked me why I was shaking so bad , that I looked like I was in shock and terror and my reply was if you were beat down by three males and did not even know they were cops yet , then you would be shaking too. They tried to say I was resisting arrest because I peed on floor and they had to back up. My husband and I whom have never been apart since day one of being with each other were forced to be apart and not allowed to even look at each other. I looked at my husband and told him that I loved him and got thrown into the psych cell for talking to him. This ordeal has been traumatic for us both and has caused us to hate police even more, we thought the LAPD were bad but the LVMPD and their corrupt torture chambers of a jail take the cake. They are corrupt and worse than the most violent gang you can think of. Beware of these mean and evil pigs. By the way, the bastards had the nerve to keep texting me and asking me to come see them again …. oh yeah one more thing .. if they were not corrupt I do not see why three men took me in a medical room (no females watching me ) all three of them asking me for sexual favors saying that they would pay me and that they have enough money for it. – The LVMPD is evil and should get what they deserve … I have night terrors now and cannot sleep at all.. everytime i close my eyes I see their faces and the way they touched me , my husband and I plan to take legal action against them if any lawyer in this town has the balls to stand up for the little guy.
Can everyone post the officers names?
It is very hard to get the names of officers. The police refuse to give them out even though the officers are required to give them to you if you ask. We have tried to get name and have been rebutted time and again.
The las vegas metro police are as corrupt as these fascist come. the problem is an infection across the country. the police are the sludge level of government as the politicians are the scum level. A cesspool.
There is no accountability and there is always cover-up. This empire of fascist is about over. The lower level of government is a reflection of the highest levels of government. Because even the white house is involved in murder and drugs.

The las vegas metro beat my son on his 21st birthday for saying he doesn’t like cops. He wasn’t even part of the incident until the coward sarcastic filthy mouthed punk cops dragged him into it. They physically abused him, falsely charged him with a bullshit crime of obstruction and then insulted us repeatedly with their filthy mouths.
During this violent assault on us by the police, one of these coward fagot pigs locked their taser gun on my 14 year old daughter and her 13 year old friend.

during “biker weekend” in laughlin nevada i went with my son ryan on his 21st birthday and my 14 year old daughter nad her 13 year old friend to see some custom bikes, listen to music and shop for some 2010 tee shirts. we had a great time and decided to go home to arizona about 11:00pm.
we had parked at the horizon mall parking structure and we were just entering the parking lot when i playfully shoved my daughter as we stepped off the curb of the sidewalk. she is 5’11″ and has large feet because she is so tall. she tripped over her own feet and stumbled about two feet before catching herself.
there were two uniformed metro officers leaning against the hood of their car as my daughter, my son, his girlfriend and my daughter’s 13 year old friend passed them i was in the back of the group, one of the metro cops called to me asking how old i was. i said 52 and he said ‘start acting your age or you’ll go to jail”.
i said okay, we’re going home now and we kept walking.
this vegas metro cop came unhinged. literally popping veins in his neck screaming for me to come back yelling do i want to go to jail.
i said, “go to jail? for what, horsing around with my daughter?”
he said ‘now you are going to jail”
“for what, playing with my daughter?”
he said i had pushed her into him. i denied it and my daughter denied it. she said she tripped and that she never touched him. i was being forced down onto the hood of the car and these cowards were twisting my arm as high as they could and twisted one hand completely around before cuffing it making it very painful.
my children were in shock.
i was at the front of hood of the car and my children were about thirty feet behind the car when my son made the comment “God he didn’t do anything”
another metro coward cop who had nothing to do with the two cowards twisting me and screaming their insults and profanity, yelled to my son to come towards him at the back of the car, my son told him “i don’t even like cops” as he walked towards the cops who directed him to “come here”.
before he could reach the back of the car one of these half pink cowards jumped him from behind grabbing his neck and running him towards the back truck slamming him face first into the deck lid joined by two more of these lawless cowards who kept screaming “stop resisting, stop resisting”
he kept saying “i’m not resisting as these pigs became like a pack of wild animals. i swear by the living God these fagot cowards went into some sort of frenzy.
by now these pieces of shit coward pigs are coming out of the woodwork. one telling his supervisor that i slammed my daughter into him, another telling him my son was resisting, the supervisor kept telling me i’ll be charged with battery on my daughter and assault on an officer.
one began tell my daughter to leave. she is 14, her friend 13, it’s 11:30pm and they’re in another state. she said: “we don’t have a ride home”
the cop told her again to leave. she said “we don’t have a ride home and we don’t have money for a taxi.”
my 14 year old daughter looked like she was in shock and about to cry and one of these piece of shit coward fagot pigs told her, “it’s not my fucking problem, it looks like you’re walking” then another pulled out his taser and locked the red light onto her stomach.

i was told to keep my mouth shut but i kept saying you’re crazy for pointing that taser at a child for being scared and left abandoned on the streets at almost midnight in a town full of drunken bikers and in another state without securing a ride home for her and her 13 year old friend.

Keep searching for a lawyer that has experince in Civil Rights Law. Not all peace officer are bad. But it seems like Clark County Nevada is a breeding ground for them.
I am a native of Vegas and i’m a 29 year old single mom who works hard and pays taxes. I havent been assaulted by the police but I tell you that I truley beleive the LVPD dont police the streets they police the city budget. They are all just out to get the city more money. It’s just nuts. I’m seriously thinking about moving out of Las Vegas just because of the Police Department here. Now the city is going to lose a taxpayer. Hope it was worth it. Police are supposed to protect and serve. My house was being broken into and called the cops. Took them a good half hour to get there and once they did they called me to tell me they were outside waiting for another cruiser to show up….REALY!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? The cop that showed up on the scene was too scared to get out of the car and approach the house one his own. Me and the three kids in my house could’ve been dead by then. They were probably too busy writting someone a stupid speeding ticket to collect the city some more money. They have no compassion, no consideration and are down right rude and offensive. I met one nice cop here and have to assume he must be new.
I feel your pain. When we were attacked in our backyard they waited for 4 squad cars to show up before they came to our “aid”.
In coming to our aid they crippled me in order to assure THEIR safety. I would NEVER call the Las Vegas police to my home again.
Be thankful you were able to walk away from the Cops after they came to your home. I ended up in the hospital.
