Remember that the Supreme Court Ohio v. Reiner 532 U.S. 17, in 2001 warned CitiZnes to keep their mouths shut when they stated: “In Grunewald, we recognized that truthful responses of an innocent witness, as well as those of a wrongdoer, may provide the government with incriminating evidence from the speaker’s own mouth.”
Always remember that the police cannot use anything you say to your benefit but ONLY what they can use AGAINST you. So there is no GOOD reason to ever talk to the police unless they want you provide incriminating evidence AGAINST YOURSLEF.
