What Caused America’s Financial Disaster

Just a few quotes from the past to let you know that this collapse was not an accident:

In politics, nothing happens by accident. If it happens, it was planned that way. –Franklin D. Roosevelt

“I never thought the Federal Reserve System would prove such a failure. The country is in a state of irretrievable bankruptcy.” –Senator Carter Glass 1983

“The few who can understand the system…will either be so interested in its profits, or so dependent on its favors, that there will be no opposition from that class, while on the other hand, the great body of people, mentally incapable of comprehending the tremendous advantages that capital derives from the system, will bear its burdens without complaint and perhaps without even suspecting that the system is inimical (adverse) to their interests.” Rothschild Brothers. London, June 25, 1863 – Lightning Over The Treasury Building, J.R. Elsom

“Lenin was certainly right. There is no subtler, no surer means of overturning the existing basis of society than to debauch the currency. The process engages all the hidden forces of economic law on the side of destruction, and does it in a manner which not one man in a million is able to diagnose.” John Maynard Keynes from book The Economic Consequences of the Peace

“Merchants have no country. The mere spot they stand on does not constitute so strong an attachment as that from which they draw their gains.” —Thomas Jefferson to Horatio G. Spafford, 1814.

Now please remind me how much did AIG Bosses just get in Bonuses that were allowed by the Republican President (Bush was still in office when the Bailout was shoved through) and the Democrats controlled Congress? And why is it that these AIG Executives have not been arrested for treason by President Obama?

Of course President Wilson explained it, in 1916, when he said that because he had signed the Federal Reserve Act of 1913 giving power to only a few men that:

“We have come to be one of the worst ruled, one of the most completely controlled and dominated governments in the civilized world. We are no longer a government by free opinion, no longer a government by conviction and the vote of the majority, but a government by the opinion and duress of a small group of dominate men. I have unwittingly betrayed my country.”

Oh… Three last quotes to remember as you claim you live in the freest country on earth:

“None are more hopelessly enslaved than those who falsely believe they are free.” Johann W. von Goethe

“Freedom—is the absence of the awareness of restraint.” David Rockefeller

“If a nation expects to be ignorant and free, it expects what never was and never will be.” Thomas Jefferson

Have a wonderful and blessed day and may your chains set lightly upon you, especially on April 15th.
