Nevada Democrats vote to Establish a New Civil Religion

Twelve Nevada Senate Democrats voted to establish Civil Unions in Nevada yesterday. Our adulterous Republican Governor has vowed to veto the bill if it comes across his desk.
Why are we once again wasting time on this nonsense instead of working on the financial crisis. It is polishing the brass on the Titanic.
We need to outlaw marriage all together. Marriage is a religious act. Why is the government allowed to license a religious act? Did you know that in Nevada the minister has to get a license to marry people too? What garbage. That is why Patrick Henry fought against England. Marriage licenses started to allow inter-racial marriage because it was against the law to inter-racial marry. Why are we still promoting a racist licensing system?
Why not license baptisms or a Temple recommends or First Holy Communions or a briss or tree hugging?
We need to get the government out of marriage and the way to do it is to end government benefits for marriage. No more government benefits for married people. SIMPLE. Gays get no rights (chains) they want because there aren’t any and they don’t have to pay for so-called good Christians government benefits they get from marriage.
If you want to get married in a Church… Great. If you want to marry a tree… Great. As long as I don’t have to pay for your marriage to a tree or your marriage in a church, I DON’T CARE.
So why don’t we stop licensing marriage! Simple. The government makes too much money with licenses and divorces and family court and so we need to get off the moral high horse ON BOTH SIDES and follow the money trail. It’s all about the money. It has nothing to do with who sleeps with whatever. It is about the government being able to hire people to shuffle papers. It is vote buying.
In Nevada I can have as many live in lovers from whatever sex I want just as long as I don’t get a license. (I only have one by the way and have been faithful for 31 years.) Why do I have to get a license to be able to go see my lover in the hospital if I have a written contract that says that I can go see my lover or lovers in the hospital? The Constitution does not allow States to limit contracts. Marriage licenses LIMIT THAT RIGHT! If we just got contacts and were responsible people instead of letting the government be responsible for us then all of this marriage garbage could go back in the closet where it belongs. Not Gay marriage. ALL marriage. This is nothing but the people that gave us the unconstitutional undeclared war in Iraq and tried to legalize torture and the next group that refuse to punishing people who torture while expanding our world-wide undeclared wars everywhere, getting us to waste our time and efforts fighting each other instead of hanging the banking executives for treason then confiscating all their property.
This license stuff is NOTHING but an establishment of religion GARBAGE. Why can’t Mormons have 20 wives? Because the government decided they could not have freedom of THEIR religion because the Protestants did not like the Mormon cult. They liked Protestantism so they had only ONE wife but of course the powerful ones that only claimed to be Christians while their actions proved them liars, also had a couple of lovers on the side. As one U.S. Senator said: “I would rather be friends with a polygamist that does not polig than a monogamist who does not monog.” [I specifically mention Mormonism because in Nevada Mormons were not allowed to vote, BY LAW, and I do not know of any other religion in Nevada that has that distinction.]
But what does it matter if a man monogs or poligs? If the man does not use the government to steal from me to support his religion and marriage beliefs? Can I tell the man he cannot practice his religion because mine says he should not live that way? Can I tell a man, that believes that Peyote is a religious experience, that he is going to Hell, and enforce that ‘ultimate reality I believe in with law and arrest and punishment if he uses Peyote to find his path to God? As long as he ain’t driving or flying a plane etc. or getting the government to pay for his hospital care why can’t he get to heaven on his own wings? Just don’t pluck mine!
I don’t who care sleeps with whom as long as I don’t have to pay for ANYTHING for their children or their union or allow men polygamists to have special benefits that a lady can’t have with 20 wives for herself. Heck maybe the 20 wives want to be married and just for spice they throw in a husband for lawn work and car repair. WHAT DO I CARE as long as I don’t have to have the government take from me to support their moral beliefs? Gay rights is nothing but a new religion and I am all for new religions. The ones we have obviously don’t work as few members of any religion actually practice their faith.
For example: Many Christians claim America is a Christian Nation. “Peace on Earth”? “Do good to all men”?
Like the Bible says: By their fruits ye shall know them. We are NOT a Christian Nation in the year of our Lord 2009 because Christ’s fruit was not all rotten and filled with torture and world domination and 50% to 75% over-all tax rates and unequal weights and measures with no one knowing what a dollar even is. Unequal Weights and Measures is declared to be an abomination to the Lord in the Bible and yet our Christan Nation practices this Civic Religion of Unequal Weights and Measures every day.
Prov. 20: 10 Divers weights, and divers measures, both of them are alike abomination to the Lord.
Deut. 25:13 ¶ Thou shalt not have in thy bag divers weights, a great and a small.
The Federal Reserve prints up more great and small divers weights EVERYDAY. It take about 17 Federal Reserve Notes to buy a Silver Dollar minted by the United States mint in 2008. So will the REAL dollar please stand up? Talk about a bag of divers weights, a great and a small! And so-called Christian DO NOTHING.
Gays coming out of the closet is like Mormons coming out of the closet in 1870 or Protestants coming out of the closet in 1500. The only thing that changed is the century. If it is a religion that has no value it will die off as do all religions that do not benefit its practitioners.
But if we TRULY are to have a separation of Church and State then ALL religions need to be made separate from the State. Not just the ones hand selected by the Courts. The Supreme Court defines religion as a belief in an “ultimate reality.” This includes everything from Atheism to Buddhism to Mormonism to Judaism to Marxism to Islam to Gay rights to Global warming to the KKK to Nazism and their Heil Hitler.
Do you know what Heil Hitler meant? It meant salvation through Hitler. He was the German Messiah. I even have his Thirty Point Church of the Reich Plan. It is in FDR’s library.
The Supreme Court said that civic/secular religions established by the government are unconstitutional. Therefore we need to end ALL civic religion benefits from the government. Marriage is NOTHING but a civic religion. Anything that is based on faith in things unseen or belief in an ultimate reality can, Constitutionally speaking, have NOTHING to do with government.

Prompted by the shattering of the bonds between religion and the political order brought about by the Enlightenment, Jean-Jacques Rousseau devised a “new” religion (civil religion) to be used by the state as a way of enforcing civic unity. Emile Durkheim, by contrast, conceived civil religion to be a spontaneous phenomenon arising from society itself - a non-coercive force expressing the self-identify or self-definition of a people. In 1967, the American sociologist Robert Bellah rediscovered the concept and applied it to American society in its Durkheimian form. Ever since Bellah’s publication, most authors have sought to explain civil religion in terms of an alleged “spontaneous” integrative role for society. They have emphasized the religious and cultural dimension of the concept, but failed to give due consideration to its political-ideological foundations. Thus, the coercive potential of civil religion has received little attention or has been wrongly relegated to Third World countries. Cristi provides a critique of the civil religion thesis, and identifies the most basic deficiencies of literature on this topic. By contrasting Bellah’s Durkheimian conception with Rousseau’s original formulation, the author discloses the dubious conceptual and empirical basis of the former. She demonstrates the need to rethink Bellah’s thesis in the light of a reinterpretation of Rousseau’s and Durkheim’s classical approaches, and substantiates her critique with a brief comparative survey of state-directed civil religions, and with an informative case study of civil religion in Pinochet’s Chile.
Robert Nelson, in his book entitled: Economics as Religion (Penn State Press (psupress.org)) in Chapter 1 stated:
“Marx thus is best understood not fundamentally as an economist at all, but as another Jewish messiah—like Jesus—with another message of salvation for the world. If the message of Jesus had conquered the Mediterranean and European world, the Marxist gospel in the twentieth century would spread over Russia, China, and many other nations—to billions of people throughout the globe. As Paul Tillich said in his history of Christian religion, and however distorted the Marxist gospel. Marx was one of the most influential “theologians” who ever lived.”

Dr. Tomislav Sunic, in his book: Marx, Moses, and the Pagans in the Secular City stated:
“We might conclude that for Christians it is Christ who defines the value of a human being, for a Jew it is Judaism that gauges someone’s “choseness,” and for Marx it is not the quality of man that defines the class, but rather the quality of the class that defines man. One thus becomes “elect” by virtue of his affiliation to his class or his religious belief.
World Religions Today stated:
“In China, the enormously successful civil religion of the Communist party adapted ancient Confucian imperial doctrine, promoted Mao as the sage-philosopher of the nation, whose teachings were critical for national salvation, and presented Mao as representing the morality of communist truth.”
The Communist Manifesto written as essentially the Ten Commandments of his New Religion include:
#2 Graduated Income tax. It was started by Republican Lincoln in the USA only 14 years after this Manifesto was published.
#5 Banks based on Credit controlled by the State. In the USA we have a twist on this. We have a banking system based on Credit that controls the State. That is Fascism by the way but Fascism is just as much a religion as Marxism.
#10 Free Government Schools. Yes folks. Public Schools…They are for the Children… to learn to be obedient Marxists but you continue to send your babies there because you love them? Or is it because it is easier than being responsible?
So all you Good Christians and Members of the Religion of Gay Rights you just keep on practicing the ONE TRUE religion you can all follow faithfully. The Religion of Doing Whatever the Government Tells You to do. The Religion of Slavery. It is obvious you are VERY good members.
Oh no? Matt. 7: 20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
What is it that gentlemen wish? What would they have? Is life so dear, or peace so sweet, as to be purchased at the price of chains and slavery? Forbid it, Almighty God! I know not what course others may take; but as for me, give me Liberty, or give me Death!
