Solutions

By Christopher Hansen

My son and I have often had conversations about the problems with Libertarian thinking. The simple fact is that government helps commerce and commerce helps make you truly free. Without commerce you live in a cave with a club.

Pure libertarian thinking winds you up in that cave. So what is a solution that can actually work?

The problem with America and the whole world is that the super rich use commerce to enslave the people, that Madison called, the “industrious and uniformed mass of the people.”

“Another effect of public instability is the unreasonable advantage it gives to the sagacious, the enterprising, and the moneyed few over the industrious and uniformed mass of the people.”

Federalist #62

The moneyed few are more dangerous to individual liberty than the government. They get that way by promoting and supporting regulations and licenses and income tax on wages and Socialist Security and OSHA and unemployment taxation, etc. etc., to eat out the food and substance of the little guy.

The BIG corporations can pass those costs on. Not the ma and pa store.

So why not level the playing field? That is what a Constitutional Republican form of government should be doing. It should protect the God created individual and tax the creations of government, i.e. corporations. Government should ensure that our God given rights remain unalienable, especially from corporations infringing (liening) upon those rights.

But without the moneyed few we don’t have gas stations or the NFL or airlines or cell phones. Is that really freedom? Who wants to back to the corner store market as your ONLY choice? No phones. No cars. No big screen TVs. No Superbowl. (I could live without the Superbowl but…)

This is why I believe that ALL taxes should be paid by corporations. They help society but also are a HUGE threat to it. Corporations, like fire, are a dangerous servant and a fearful master. The larger the corporation the larger the tax should be. Those that reap the MOST benefits should pay the most. Naturally the little guy can avoid all taxation by simply not buying from corporations.

That’s a tough thing to do but not impossible or at least it is easliy kept at a minimum. This makes ALL taxation of the individual 100% Voluntary. No audits. No fear tactics from the IRS. The only “persons” that pay taxes are the “persons” without God given unalienable rights but only government created rights. And that which is created by the government can be destroyed by the government because they have no rights. They have privileges.

If government made it so that all U.S. (federal) corporations or State corporations that do interstate, not just intrastate, commerce had to pay a 1% GROSS tax while engaged in interstate commerce and then increased it by 1% with EVERY union state they do business in then that would help the ma and pa stores to compete and even smaller more local corporations to compete.

Corporations and small sole proprietor business that paid no federal corporation tax would spring up in individual states just to avoid the taxation by the Federal Government. And of course State corporations that stay just in a single state would be subject ONLY to State taxation.

Of course corporations don’t really pay taxes. The people that buy the products pay the tax but that is the choice of the individual and keeps the government and their stinking Fascist noses out of our private lives.

We would have more jobs and high paying jobs than we have people. We would WANT immigration even of just common laborers. The world would be forced to model itself after the USA and freedom would shoot forth like flowers in Spring time, worldwide. NO bombs. No false attacks blames on the wrong people. Just free enterprise unburdened from the Super Capitalists that HATE free enterprise and fair and honest competition.

Our schools (all private of course) would be like palaces.

But you see the moneyed few don’t want that. They LOVE the IRS and tons of regulations that keep the ma and pa store under the foot of the government stranglehold.

And what solutions have the Democrats and Republicans given you?
