I laud your efforts to seek out justice. Let me tell you first, there are many fine women and men who proudly serve on policing agencies across this nation.
On the other hand and in many cases, police corruption prevails and remains unchecked without the benefit of civilian oversight.
A concept interim police Chief Dennis Burns will avoid at all costs in his efforts to protect his own.
Keeping in mind that number of police officers including police chiefs, interim or otherwise charged with witness tampering, evidence tampering, sexual assaults, coercion, false police reports are now in federal prison.
And studies suggests this has ballooned to over 500 percent since the Clinton administration.
Those of us who are critics and dare defy unchecked police practices are the real safeguards of society.
Unfortunately, the truth you seek will continue to be “obstructed†by the very same persons including judges, DA’s and prosecutors who are commissioned to uphold our laws void of any national attention absent of the Justice you seek.
Interim police chief Dennis Burns and other are in fact terrified at this very revelation and will do all that is necessary to not only suppress evidence, but to protect one of their own with impunity.
Mr. Ciampi, I wish you continued success in your search for Justice; you are an extraordinary brave person to challenge the status quo.
