Man Awarded 2 million FRNS after Cops lie to convict him

LANSING, Mich. (AP) – A $2 million settlement has been reached in a lawsuit filed by a Lansing man who was wrongfully convicted of murder.

Tuesday’s settlement ends 2 1/2 years of litigation centered on whether Lansing Community College police Det. Rodney Bahl hid evidence of McCollum’s innocence.
