PHILADELPHIA — Philadelphia’s top prosecutor says a veteran police officer faces charges for allegedly stealing hundreds of dollars from a bar where an officer was slain more than four years ago.
District Attorney Seth Williams says 56-year-old Kenneth Crockett is being charged with theft and receiving stolen property for allegedly taking $825 from a safe at Pat’s Cafe in northeast Philadelphia.
