The Vaughan campaign was informed by the Las Vegas Review Journal yesterday that his Republican and Democratic rivals in the US Congress 1 race have conceded that the race may now be a “foregone conclusion”, while his third rival, a Libertarian, conceded that Independent American candidate Vaughan is “the most knowledgeable”.
Vaughan, who was the featured guest for 2.5 hours this week on the Constitution Party nationwide radio show, says in politics, like chess, he never takes an opponent for granted. Thus he intends to keep campaigning hard through to the election.
Apparently the Titus campaign does not feel the late endorsement this week of the Culinary Union is enough to overcome a campaign rocked by scandals. Vaughan reviewed the issues with the Las Vegas Review Journal. Nevada has issues of high foreclosure and unemployment rates which need to be addressed by someone like himself with a background in economics, finance, accounting and business administration and not by a high school dropout like Titus. Further, the District voters have expressed conceren over former Congresswoman Titus and her votes for the infamous carbon Tax (“Tax on Air”) and Obamacare (“Tax on Nothing”). various allegations revealed have led to Titus having almost no support any longer in the Hispanic community over her treatment of Hispanic Community favorite Kihuen while she made the claim she was not concerned about the Hispanic vote as they do not turn out to vote she claimed. The gay and lesbian community have expressed concerns over allegations of bullying by her while in high school of gays and lesbians despite recent public service announcements she has made against bullying, while Veterans consider her the “Jane Fonda of Nevada” for votes against Veteran healthcare and the African American Community has expressed concerns over allegations of past Klan connections which the Titus campaign has so far not disavowed.
Vaughan says while his opponents have advised the RJ of the concessions, he will still continue to campaign hard, make the most of limited resources, having run the campaign in a frugal manner just as he would handle taxpayer dollars in Congress votes. Vaughan says he will be honored to serve the entire US Congress District 1 community.
