Here is Nevada Attorney General Catherine Cortez Masto’s reply to me regarding my request for NOT declaring October 24 “UN Day” (https://www.un.org/en/events/unday/).
Masto is an elected official.
Masto is a Democrat. Her bio at http://ballotpedia.org/wiki/index.php/Catherine_Cortez_Masto#Biography doesn’t show her ever running a business or meeting a payroll. Her husband is a government employee. Her other political issues and controversies can be read on the webpage. She refused to oppose ObamaCare, opposing former Republican Governor Jim Gibbons desire to sue the Federal Government over it.
Attached is her portrait. Here is a YouTube of her: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kjMV2G4LHbs&feature=related showing how enthusiastic she is for Obama.
Below is her reply revealing how she thinks about NOT declaring UN Day. At least she had the courtesy to reply, even though she only passed the buck to Governor Sandoval. Her bothering to reply probably indicates that a lot of Northern Nevada Birchers may have swamped her with the same request not to declare U.N. Day.
So far, Governor Sandoval hasn’t replied. If he does, I’ll forward his reply.
Harry Reid will most likely NOT reply. He never does, as he is not currently running for office and because I am not a member of his Culinary Workers Union or his Service Employees International Union or of La Raza, or of his “Republicans for Reid” organization, the people he needs to stay in office.
Congressman Joe Heck may reply, as he is running for reelection. Dean Heller may reply, as he is running for reelection.
This request for not declaring U.N. Day is a good litmus test, isn’t it?

Thank you for your attention.

Dear Constituent:
This is an acknowledgement of receipt of your email sent to our office
regarding Don’t Proclaim United Nations Day. The Office of the Nevada
Attorney General does not have statutory authority to declare a

Subject: Gov.: Don’t Proclaim UN Day
Dear Attorney General Cortez Masto,
Governor, please don’t proclaim October 24 as United Nations Day.
If you already have done so for this year, please don’t do so for any
future years.
As for the reasons why you shouldn’t proclaim UN Day, please read the
new article, “United Nations: On the Brink of Becoming a World
Government” at http://www.thenewamerican.com/world-news/item/13126
The subtitle of this article tells it all. The last thing we need is to
lose our national sovereignty to a UN world government. This would mean
losing our national independence and our personal freedoms.
(I’m sending copies of this email to the Lieutenant Governor, Attorney
General, and my state legislators.)
Please reply.
Sincerely,
Frank Pelteson
